About Us.

McLintock was first established in 1993, initially as a software house developing applications for the IBM AS/400 midrange computers.  From the late 1990s the emphasis changed to website and e-commerce solutions, and nowadays McLintock works almost exclusively in this area.

In 2002 McLintock helped to start an e-cards website for Jacquie Lawson, then an unknown artist, and this partnership has developed over the subsequent five years to become a remarkable success story, with jacquielawson.com becoming one of the most popular e-card websites in the world.

Following re-organisation in early 2006, McLintock is now two people: Mike Hughes-Chamberlain, the original founder, and Jenny Smith, who joined the company in 2005.  Mike and Jenny first worked together nearly 25 years ago, and between them they have over 40 years of IT experience to offer.  They bring a unique combination of enthusiasm and expertise to any project, together with the personal touch that can only come from a small company.
